INCI: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice

Products: Skin Cleanse, Skin Wash, Steriliser, Hand Cream, Magic Gel, Magic Gel Spray, Glow, Hit the Spot, Foot Cream, Body Butter

Benefits: One of our favourite soothing and healing ingredients, Aloe Vera contains antioxidants, vitamins A and C which can treat burns, acne, dry skin and other skin issues. It's also soothing, anti-ageing, healing, anti-inflammatory and lightly moisturising.

Fact: Aloe Vera has powerful self-healing properties - the plant can live for up to 100 years.

INCI: Candelilla Cera

Products: Hand cream, Body Butter, Foot Cream and Lip Balm

Benefits: This wonder wax is a natural binder for cosmetic ingredients and a vegan alternative to Beeswax - it also spreads and absorbs more easily. It works wonders for moisturising and soothing dry skin and it won't clog pores in oily skin. Its rich Vitamin A content promotes cell regeneration, combats ageing skin and minimises stretch marks.

Fact: Candelilla wax is a plant wax. It comes from the leaves of small candelilla shrubs, which are native to northern Mexico and the southwestern U.S


INCI: Aqua, Potassium Oleate, Potassium Cocoate, Glycerin, Potassium Citrate, Citric Acid

Products: Skin Wash

Benefits: Castile soap is completely natural with no harsh chemical additives or detergents. It is non-toxic, antibacterial, anti-fungal and antioxidant. It’s mild enough to use on your face yet strong enough to prevent acne and kill harmful bacteria. It can help oily, acne-prone skin as it cleans pores, without irritating or drying it out. Not only is it great for your face, but you can use it all over your body to improve your skin

Fact: Castile soap was made in the Mediterranean area before its use spread to Europe. Traditionally, castile soap was made of olive oil. It gets its name from the Castile region of Spain

INCI Name: Ricinus Communis Seed Oil.

Products: Lip Balm

Benefits: Ultra-versatile Castor Oil is a natural moisturiser that forms a barrier preventing moisture loss from the outer skin layer. It can be used for skin conditions because of its anti-inflammatory properties which  help soothe the skin and fight bacteria.

Fact: Many believe that Cleopatra used the pale yellow liquid to brighten the whites of her eyes.

INCI: Fractionated Coconut Oil: Cocos Nucifera Oil

Products: Lip Balm, Glow, Body Butter, Foot Cream

Benefits:  Our skin can’t get enough of Coconut Oil, a super-hydrator that moisturises, protects and smooths skin, minimising fine lines and wrinkles, all while providing antioxidants.

We use two types of Coconut Oil. Fractionated Coconut Oil is odourless and liquid at room temperature. Refined Coconut Oil is more solid at room temperature and also odourless.

Fact: Coconut oil has a natural SPF of 4-5 and contains antioxidants that help protect the skin from the sun.

INCI: Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter

Products: Hand Cream, Body Butter, Foot Cream and Lip Balm

Benefits: A deliciously scented skin soother, Cocoa Butter heals chapped skin, moisturises and fights ageing, forming a magical protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. It is also rich in antioxidants and phytochemicals that protect the skin from UV.

Fact: 100 grams of cocoa butter contain up to 900 calories. We don’t recommend eating it!

INCI: Simmondsia Chinensis Oil

Products: Lip Balm, Hand Cream

Benefits: This canny little oil miraculously mimics the skin’s sebum and balances out your complexion, adding more sebum where it’s needed, and winding down production where it’s not. Loaded with antioxidants, such as vitamins A and E, and omega-6 fatty acids, it retains moisture in the skin, is hypoallergenic, promotes collagen synthesis and speeds up wound healing.

Fact: Jojoba oil is derived from the seeds of the jojoba shrub, native to the North American deserts of Arizona, Mexico, California. It was used by the Aztecs to treat skin diseases and wounds.

INCI: Lavandula Angustifolia Oil

Products: Hand Sanitiser, Skin Wash and Skin Cleanse

Benefits: It's easy to love lavender. Not only is its oil deeply relaxing, it can treat anxiety, fungal infections, allergies, depression, insomnia, eczema, nausea, menstrual cramps and wounds - plus it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Fact: Lavender comes from the Latin ‘lavare’, meaning ‘to wash’, as the herb was often added to water to scent it for washing.

INCI: Citrus nobilis peel extract

Products: Body Butter

Benefits: A little-known essential oil with powerful healing properties. Mandarin can brighten the skin, reduce oily skin, diminish scars, age spots and wrinkles. It may also improve the circulation of blood and lymph, keeping skin rejuvenated and providing relief from rheumatism and arthritis.

Fact: Most people believed that mandarin is a hybrid of the orange fruit. However, scientists found that it wasn’t derived from any other fruit and was, instead, an entire species of its own.

INCI: Melissa Officinalis Leaf Oil

Products: Hand Cream, Lip Balm

Benefits: You may know this as lemon balm, a rare oil extracted from the leaf of the Melissa plant that can treat insomnia, anxiety, migraines, cold sores (herpes) and dementia. This amazing oil has antibacterial, antiviral and antidepressant properties. Its lemony aroma promotes emotional balance, soothes tension and boosts skin health.

Fact: Melissa is Greek for “honeybee,” and its sweet, citrus fragrance was known to attract bees.

INCI: Menta Anvensis Herb Oil

Products: Foot Cream

Benefits: This much-loved zingy mint is one of the best essential oils for sore feet, cooling the area and temporarily masking pain. If you've been on your feet all day, using peppermint oil can reduce tension and swelling, while also energising the body.

Fact: Peppermint is a hybrid mint that’s a cross between spearmint and watermint. It can be found naturally in North America and Europe.

INCI: Rubus Idaeus

Products: Lip Balm

Benefits: As a great source of antioxidants and vitamins A and E, red raspberry seed oil can slow the ageing process, stimulate collagen production, and help your skin appear more youthful and vibrant. It's a luxurious addition to lip balms, as it forms a barrier to prevent moisture loss and protect skin.

Fact: Red Raspberry Seed Oil absorbs damaging UVA and UVB rays, preventing them from reaching your skin. Some studies show it has an SPF of between 28 and 50 for UVA rays.

INCI name: Rosa Canina Kernal Oil

Products: Hand Sanitiser, Skin Wash and Skin Cleanse

Benefits: Another gorgeous oil, pressed from the seeds and fruit of the Rosehip bush.
Rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it can help regenerate tissue and collagen, as well as hydrating, brightening, and reducing fine lines and inflammation and improves acne.

Fact: 85% of the world’s Rosehip Oil originates from Chile, Asia, India and South Africa

INCI: Rosa Damascena flower water

Products: Glow

Benefits: Not just a pretty flower, Rose Water tones skin, plus soothes skin irritation. It’s anti-inflammatory, reduces skin redness such as rosacea and acne, treats infections and heals scars or burns.

Fact: Rose water has been used for thousands of years. It originated in what is now Iran, where it is still widely produced today.

INCI: Butyrospermum parkii butter

Products: Lip Balm

Benefits: Another miracle Butter, Shea moisturises without making skin look oily. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, with high levels of vitamins A and E, it is also known to boost collagen and cell regeneration, reducing the appearance of stretch marks and scars.

Fact: Shea butter is fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree, used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries. Shea trees are native to West Africa, and most shea butter still comes from that region.

INCI Name: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis

Products: Body Butter, Foot Cream
Benefits: Sweet Almond Oil is one of our favourites for its radiant effect on skin. It’s both a moisturiser and emollient - used for centuries to treat dry skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis. Rich in vitamin E, vitamin A, essential Omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc, it's also anti-inflammatory and can help ease swelling, itchiness, scars and stretch marks.

Fact: Studies are currently looking at the potential for Sweet Almond Oil being used as a Biofuel.

INCI Name: Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil

Products: Hand Sanitiser, Skin Wash and Skin Cleanse

Benefits: This super sanitiser has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antifungal properties. It can be used to treat skin and wound infections, acne, athlete's foot, lice, nail fungus and insect bites amongst other things. Research shows mixing tea tree oil with silver significantly increased antimicrobial activity against bacteria that causes skin infections.

Fact: Australian natives soaked the tea tree leaves in tea infusions or crushed them to inhale the soothing scent of their essential oils for the treatment of coughs and colds, the leaves were also sprinkled on wounds and held in place with mud pack poultices.

INCI: Tocopherol, Tritum Vulgar Germ Oil

Products: Magic Gel, Magic Gel Spray, Foot Cream, Body Butter, Glow and Lip Balm

Benefits: The ultimate skin nourisher, Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that can help reduce UV damage and the harmful effects of pollution. It is great for moisturising, wound healing, eczema and psoriasis.

Fact: Vitamin E oil is known for its anti-ageing benefits and can be used for the treatment of scars and fine lines.

INCI: Zinc Oxide

Products:  Hit the Spot

Benefits: Powerful in small doses, Zinc has anti-inflammatory properties and is useful for skin issues such as acne, rosacea, eczema, and ulcers. It works as an antioxidant and helps heal and rejuvenate the skin.

Fact: Zinc is the 24th-most abundant element in the Earth's crust and the second most abundant metal in the human body, after iron.

INCI: Xantham Gum

Products:  Skin Wash

Benefits: Xanthan gum it used in skincare for product texture to thicken and blend other ingredients. It can replenish moisture, prevent moisture loss, prevent skin wrinkles, and also anti-aging.

Fact: It’s created when sugar is fermented by a type of bacteria called Xanthomonas campestris and creates this goo-like substance.
