About Colloidal Silver
Colloidal silver is made up of tiny particles of silver suspended in purified water. Silver has been used for generations in traditional health and wellbeing preparations, and Active Silver has spent more than 30 years refining the way we make our products.
Our approach: we make our products in small batches at our headquarters in Berkshire, England, giving us close control over quality, consistency and freshness.
How Active Silver products are made
Our Colloidal Silver is produced at a concentration of 10–25ppm using an advanced manufacturing technique and a very small particle size. We do not use protein synthesis to blend silver and water. All products are independently safety assessed, lab tested and made in line with applicable UK and EU cosmetic requirements.
How can Colloidal Silver be used?
Our products are sold as cosmetics in the UK and EU. They can be used topically on the skin and, where appropriate for the product, around the ears and eyes. Always follow the guidance on the individual product page and packaging.

- We do not use additives, parabens, sulphates, alcohol, fillers or artificial preservatives in our products.
- Our products and ingredients are vegan-friendly and never tested on animals.
- We use recycled, recyclable and biodegradable packaging wherever possible.
- We use Miron glass for almost all jars, apart from the 12ml pots, to help protect light-sensitive products.
