These sets have been carefully put together to help combat acne and spots.

The natural products and suggested routine will help soothe and heal as well as help avoid scarring. Spots often develop when there’s a build-up of oil or bacteria, causing the skin around the pore to turn red, swollen and sore.

To combat Acne and Spots you can follow this simple routine using Active Silver Products. Customers usually see a difference within the first week, however, we’d suggest doing the following for 4 weeks to see a longer-lasting improvement; 

The Suggested Routine – every day, morning and night 

1. Use the Skin Cleanse product as a cleanser and/or toner. Shake before use. Spray onto your face directly (or any other acne area), avoiding contact with eyes, OR spray onto a cotton pad and wipe your skin. Leave to dry (or alternatively wipe off any excess with a cotton pad). 

2. Apply the GLOW Moisturiser to your face and neck. 

3. Once dry, wash your hands and apply a thin layer of Magic Gel onto the area and let it soak in and get to work. This works well for day time. 

4. For aggressive/angry spots and breakouts, use Hit The Spot. Using a cotton bud or a clean finger, put a very small amount (grain of rice size) onto your skin and work into a paste. This can take 5 seconds to blend because of the Zinc. Leave on like a mask/paste overnight - you don't need much at all. It will leave a white residue. It can also be used in the morning if rubbed in well, under moisturiser or make-up. 

If you have the opportunity, use the products at other times of the day too, or at least just the magic gel. If you wear makeup, try to keep your make-up to a minimum, and also avoid any products that are oily or greasy as this could block your pores.

What causes Acne? 

Acne is most prolific in teenage years, but it may continue into later life. 

Acne is often caused by hormones during puberty or when the hair follicle gets blocked with oils or dirt which can’t escape so bacteria can form under the skin. 

The true benefit of our products is often seen with prolonged use. We recommend using our products for 7-10 days so that the product has time to moisturise and penetrate the cleansing ingredients through all the skin layers.
